Our generation is facing the advent of a global competitive environment which is dynamic and demands impeccable communication skills and personal that can deliver result oriented performances. It becomes extremely important to train the future managerial personnel with soft skills that may induce confidence in them to face people of varied perception and nature.
In management field the importance of good communication ability can never be undermined. In an effort to take positive step in this direction Institute of Management and Development proudly conductsCogent Inter-Batch Presentation Competition.
 Cogent means an influencing speaker. Therefore its mission is to improve soft skills where management trainees are provided with a conducive platform for delivering multimedia presentation on industry related topics. Every group is given 10 minutes to present their material by power point presentation.
The main purpose is to remove the stage fright from student who hesitates to express themselves on stage and to work on individual shortcomings. A successful manager is one who knows everything about their environment from past to present. Therefore cogent also make the management trainee aware about the various important topics and issues of all the related fields which is an indispensable part of the student. It imparts them with the knowledge about various scenarios of the world.
Cogent is aimed to go a long way in preparing the future MBA for global competition and the Institute of Management and Development aims at making its entire management trainee The Cogent.
